Join us in a community discussion with Lauren, a first time mama, and me (her midwife) all about her birth and the days leading up to it. There were several challenging things that happened and we will be discussing each one and talking about why we made the choices we made. We will travel through the following themes: meconium, prolonged broken waters, post dates, long labor, pushing on one’s back, big babies, stressed out family members, non-stress tests, and more!

I hope this talk will either support or challenge some of the ideas you have around birth, I hope it will inspire you, and I hope it will give you more knowledge for serving your community.
